The Digital Audio Extender allows one (1) digital audio source signal: either Coax (S/PDIF) or Optical (TOSLINK) to be connected to the receiver outputting Coax and Optical to up to distances of 150m in a point-to-point configuration. The Extender supports most standards to transmit two channels of uncompressed lossless PCM audio or compressed 5.1/7.1 surround sound, such as Dolby Digital Plus or DTS-HD High Resolution Audio (multichannel digital audio Dolby Digital® 5.1, DTS, and Dolby® True HD).
 
Extend digital Optical audio (TOSLINK) or digital Coax audio to 150m over single Cat5e/6
Can be used to convert optical link (TOSLINK) to electric link (COAX) or reverse
Power only needed on one side as other side is powered by PoL
